Perry Cross

Perry Cross is an inspirational Australian. In 1994 he suffered a significant spinal injury at the age of 19 and became a C2 quadriplegic. Since the accident, Perry’s achievements are numerous and inspirational; including being Australia’s first motivational speaker on life support, the first Australian quadriplegic to complete a university degree on campus, graduating with a Bachelor of Communications from Bond University, authored the biography “Still Standing”, and most notably in 2010 Perry established the Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation (PCSRF).

Perry believes that we will find a cure for quadriplegia enabling people to move again, and talks about how he connects with his body daily in order to ready himself for this possibility.

Perry is engaging, connected and funny and holds the claim to fame that he showed ‘Superman’ how to fly - you’ll have to listen into this episode to find out how. With the mindset that everything’s possible - enjoy this conversation with Perry Cross.
